Η καμπάνια @Όχι στην Υποχρεωτική Συνεπιμέλεια καλεί φεμινιστικές και κουήρ συλλογικότητες αλλά και όλα τα πλάσματα που επιθυμούν, σε μια ανοιχτή συνέλευση οργάνωσης δράσεων για την κατάργηση του νόμου Τσιάρα, το Σάββατο 27 Ιουνίου στις 7 το απόγευμα στον χώρο τέχνης Ασπάλαθος στα Εξάρχεια.

Πέντε χρόνια τώρα η καμπάνια και οι λιγοστοί φορείς και δημοσιογράφοι που καταγράφουν τις επιπτώσεις από την εφαρμογή του νόμου για την υποχρεωτική συνεπιμέλεια, παρατηρούμε τη δραματική αύξηση στην ένταση της έμφυλης και ενδοοικογενειακής βίας ως αποτέλεσμα των πολιτικών και του κλίματος που αυτός δημιούργησε.
Η γυναικοκτονία της Βασιλικής στην Καλαμάτα είναι προαναγγελθέν έγκλημα του Νόμου Τσιάρα. Είναι η εικόνα της ωμής βίας του κράτους που την φυλάκισε σε μια ζωή με τον κακοποιητή της υπό το βάρος των απειλών πως αν έφευγε θα της έπαιρνε τα παιδιά. Τελικά της πήρε τη ζωή. Γιατί μπορούσε. Γιατί του επιτράπηκε. Η δολοφονία της και η βαρβαρότητα μέσα στην οποία έζησε εκείνη και τα παιδιά της, το τραύμα που καλούνται σήμερα να διαχειριστούν δυο μικρά παιδιά, είναι το αποτέλεσμα του νόμου για την υποχρεωτική συνεπιμέλεια. Του καθεστώτος τρόμου και εκβιασμών που έχει επιβάλλει, προς όφελος των κακοποιητών. Και διαδραματίζεται αυτή τη στιγμή, καθώς γράφουμε αυτές τις γραμμές, σε χιλιάδες σπίτια.

Λίγες μέρες πριν, ήρθε η είδηση πως μέσα σε 48 ώρες δολοφονήθηκαν 3 μητέρες και όλα τα παιδιά τους από τους πρώην/νυν συζύγους και πατεράδες. 13 άτομα νεκρά. Στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες, εκεί που ξεκίνησε το λόμπι των «ανδρικών δικαιωμάτων», η αντεπίθεση των λευκών πλούσιων cis ετεροκανονικών ανδρών της χώρας στο φεμινιστικό κίνημα και στις κατακτήσεις του, βρίσκεται ήδη στην επόμενη σελίδα. Όχι μόνο οι γυναίκες. Και τα παιδιά. Όλα νεκρά.
Πέντε χρόνια είναι πολλά. Ούτε μια μέρα παραπάνω.
Δεν θα θρηνήσουμε άλλες γυναίκες. Δεν θα κλάψουμε παιδιά. Δεν θα γυρίσουμε πίσω στις μαύρες εποχές του άντρα/πατέρα Αφέντη. Δεν έχουμε σκοπό να επιστρέψουμε σε ένα καθεστώς βίας και τρόμου από το οποίο αγωνιστήκαμε για να αποδράσουμε εκατομμύρια γυναίκες και κουήρ πλάσματα σε όλο τον πλανήτη – σε κάθε γωνιά του φωνάζουμε ότι θα ζήσουμε ελεύθερα και εμείς και τα παιδιά μας.
Αυτό τον αγώνα ενάντια στον πόλεμο που κήρυξαν πάνω στα σώματά μας θα τον κερδίσουμε εμείς. Ο νόμος Τσιάρα θα ανατραπεί.

The #No to Mandatory Joint Custody campaign invites feminist and queer collectives, as well as anyone who wishes to participate, to an open assembly to organize actions for the repeal of the Tsiaras Law, on Saturday, June 27, at 7:00 p.m. at Aspalathos Art Space in Exarchia.
The Tsiaras Law femicides!
For five years now, the campaign, along with the few organizations and journalists documenting the effects of the mandatory joint custody law, has witnessed a dramatic increase in the severity of gender-based and domestic violence as a result of the policies and climate it has created.
The femicide of Vasiliki in Kalamata was a crime foretold by the Tsiaras Law. It is a stark illustration of the state's brutal violence, which imprisoned her in a life with her abuser under the threat that if she left, he would take away her children. In the end, he took her life. Because he could. Because he was allowed to.
Her murder, the barbaric conditions in which she and her children lived, and the trauma that two young children are now forced to endure are the consequences of the mandatory joint custody law. They are the result of the regime of fear and coercion that this law has established for the benefit of abusers. And this is happening right now, as we write these words, in thousands of homes.

Just a few days ago came the news that, within 48 hours, three mothers and all of their children were murdered by current or former husbands and fathers. Thirteen people dead.
In the United States, where the "men's rights" lobby originated, as the backlash of wealthy white cisgender heterosexual men against the feminist movement and its achievements, the situation has already moved to the next stage. Not only women. Children too. All dead.
Five years is too long. Not one day more.
We will not mourn more women. We will not bury more children. We will not return to the dark times of the husband/father as master. We have no intention of going back to a regime of violence and terror from which millions of women and queer people around the world have struggled to escape. From every corner of the globe, we declare that both we and our children will live freely.
We will win this struggle against the war that has been waged on our bodies. The Tsiaras Law will be overturned.
