Leah Mahealani Dakroub - Mahea Leah
Leah Mahealani Dakroub is a young artist and entrepreneur from Honolulu. Half Lebanese and half Hawaiian, Leah has been embracing her native heritage and expressing it through art from the young age of six. Her journey as an author began when she wrote "The Feeling Flower" at just eight years old, showcasing her early talent in storytelling.
Now 16, Leah attends Acton Digital Academy, a learner-driven school that supports her creative and entrepreneurial aspirations. Leah's artistic journey took a professional turn when she started using tools like Procreate and Adobe Illustrator to create vivid Hawaiian-inspired artwork and designs based on local cuisine.
Micheal Vossen - Shots by Voss
Michael Vossen is a Native Hawaiian Photographer from Waiʻanae, Oʻahu. Through visual storytelling he hopes to preserve and celebrate the unique identities of kanaka ʻōiwi communities across Hawaiʻi.
Jake Ho - Trades HI
Luana - Luana Low
Luana is an ʻŌiwi artist hailing from the beautiful town of Kāneʻohe, Oʻahu. Her art reflects her passion for native (and beloved non-native) flora, fauna, and landscapes of Hawaiʻi, which she captures in enchanting detail and vivid color. Through her work, Luana hopes to inspire a greater appreciation for the richness and diversity of mea ʻōiwi and to encourage others to cultivate a deeper pilina with the natural world around them
