èisd (aysht)

èisd (aysht) is a project exploring the act of listening through and with Gaelic. Across two events bringing together artists and archives, èisd invites participants to tune into the textures, rhythms, and histories of Gàidhlig as a living sound practice. Through workshops, performances, and collective listening, the project listens to language as a way of connecting to place, memory, and relation.
The first event is with Cashlin Mackenzie and Susannah Stark for an evening of live sound performance and discussion between the artists about their practices with Gaelic archives and culture.
Tuesday 21st October 6-8pm
