Úna has taught formally and informally since her teens and achieved a first-class honours postgraduate degree in music education at the University of Limerick. She subsequently undertook specialised training in America, Canada, and Italy. - be exposed to the various strands of the Irish song tradition
- internalise the melodies of Irish songs with enjoyable, kinaesthetic learning methods
- be introduced to common forms and structures of Irish song
- internalise the phrasing of traditional singing
- start their journey with Irish traditional ornamentation
… leaving the workshop with a new song on their lips!
