Optimo (Espacio) | Ogazón | g-HA & Olanskii | Takt
It’s another double-header Frædag representing the past, present and future of club music and DJ culture. Between Optimo, Ogazón, and g-HA & Olanskii, we cover every corner of the dance floor. With Optimo’s eclectic presence and Ogazón’s electric energy Frædag goes from Balearic to Techno for this Øyanatt installment as g-HA & Olanskii bring a thunderous noise to both floors.
From a grassy hill in Tøyen, we trace a familiar path into the beating heart of Oslo, where the steady thump of a Funktion One wall of bass calls the dissipating crowd. Filing out from the Øya Festival perimeter, the party continues into the night as the festival takes over the city’s various clubs and establishments for the official after-party to Øya.
Jaeger takes its place again amongst the Øyanatt programme with a host of international guests and local residents playing the week -long festival. It’s one of those times in the year where we pull out all the stops as we fill both rooms and run the gauntlet from Drum and Bass to Techno, with Orgazón, Optimo, Laurence Guy and Alix Piriz visiting from abroad.
