Åna Tri Plays Amatoria Fine Art Books + Abridged by KVIE

Sacramento, Amatoria Fine Art Books and Abridged by KVIE PBS invites you to join us for an evening with local folk duo Åna Tri.

Kat & Kris Burce are sisters and collaborators, born and raised on the island of Guam and rooted in the Philippines. They blend contemporary California folk with rich, ethereal harmonies drawn from the deep well of their unique background. Åna Tri’s songs are a meditation on the natural world and a call to action to defend it, summoning their ancestors and present-day warriors with a sound that is entirely their own. We will be discussing their winding musical journey and their latest release, “Apothecary” a themed album where plants are metaphor and medicine to understand and heal our world. We are so honored to have their voices, their compositions, and their perspective grace the bookstore.

Seating! This event will be a mix of cozy lounge-style floor seating with a limited number of chairs. If you will require a chair, please reach out ahead of time once your ticket is purchased.

Parking + Bike Rack! We now have our own bike rack right out front of the store. If you are driving, there is residential parking available, but please carpool if possible, and respect our neighbors by minimizing noise.

Filming! This is a filmed event that will be the property of KVIE and shared on the Abridged platform. The focus will be on the artists and the interviewer but all concert guests may appear on film.
