About this Event
Project Agape is so excited to host our first event of 2025 during Black History Month!
Àdúró is an Ondo Yoruba term which means community and we hope this event brings you community in the best way possible.
The event features talented Black queer creatives from our Black Joy and Healing Project who will perform original works that explore identity, resilience, and joy. The brunch will be served by one of Ottawa's best chefs, whose menu has been thoughtfully designed to complement Àdúró. The afternoon continues with an engaging panel discussion featuring community leaders and community members who bring fresh perspectives to contemporary experiences.
Throughout the event, guests can explore our silent auction from amazing community supporters and the possibility participate in an exciting raffle draw to win prizes. Both the auction and raffle showcase generous donations from local businesses that support our work, with all proceeds directly supporting our community programs.
This event is funded by The Enchante Network and free to all folks!
Please note that this is a dry event.
For the safety of attendees of this event, only attendees with tickets will be let into the space.
