Rough Spells est un groupe de witch ’n roll composé de quatre membres, basé.e.s à Tkaronto, souvent décrit comme une rencontre entre Heart et Black Sabbath. En tant que colons, personnes immigrantes, juives et queers, le groupe affirme l’importance de la réconciliation et de la décolonisation, et soutient les Appels à la justice de l’Enquête nationale sur les femmes, les filles et les personnes 2SLGBTQQIA+ autochtones disparues et assassinées.
S’inscrivant dans un mouvement doom queer et à l’avant‑plan féminin, Rough Spells a lancé l’EP auto‑produit Modern Kicks for the Solitary Witch, classé #10 aux Doom Charts en 2018. Le groupe a également publié le 7" Syster ainsi que l’album Ruins at Midday (Fuzzed and Buzzed / Dark Hedonistic Union).

Poolgirl est un groupe alt‑rock de cinq membres basé à Montréal. S’inspirant du riot grrrl et du punk, tout en cultivant une approche mélodique indie rock, le groupe a été comparé à Bratmobile et Wednesday.
Depuis la sortie de son démo Is This It??? en janvier 2024, Poolgirl enchaîne les concerts à travers le Canada, des sous‑sols DIY aux festivals et événements culturels. Leur plus récent single, Triple A (mai 2025), incarne parfaitement leur force : un rock fun, énergique et résolument décomplexé. Sur scène, Poolgirl rassemble toujours un public prêt à danser, «trasher» et chanter/ crier à pleins poumons.

Carburant au bluegrass et au swing, les chansons de Margaret Tracteur et les Faucheuses fauchées, projet de Gabrielle Noël Bégin, témoignent d’une solide maîtrise du folklore américain alliée à une grande liberté. Grâce à un sens de l’observation aiguisé, une bonne dose d’humour et des techniques vocales surprenantes, l’artiste invite le public à un voyage personnel et haut en couleur entre tradition et modernité, qui réjouira autant les voyous que les amateurs de yodel.
Présenté sous la forme d’un trio féminin rapaillé pour la cause, avec Valéry St‑Gelais (contrebasse) et Sandra Boulanger (violon), le groupe développe un son organique et artisanal pour porter des textes qui font sourire, rassemblent et libèrent. Utilisant comme matière première la colère, le choc et l'aliénation qui découlent du désastre permanent qu'est la vie au 21ème siècle, Bianca Supercell mijote des chansons maximalistes, rêveuses et bruyantes qui visent à noyer le superflu.
