Join Vive NW for the perfect outing to celebrate Halloween while enjoying the outdoors. On Sunday, October 27th, we embark on an unforgettable adventure exploring Ape Caves, the third longest lava tube in North America. Afterward, we'll visit ScareGrounds PDX for some spine-tingling thrills.

The Ape Caves are a natural wonder formed from the volcanic activity of Mt. St. Helens thousands of years ago, showcasing the stunning geology of the region. Our expedition will cover a 2.8-mile hike that is rated moderate to challenging. You'll be amazed by the area's winding paths and breathtaking scenery. Once we've explored the incredible caverns and passages of Ape Caves, we'll make our way to ScareGrounds PDX, the best-haunted house in Portland. Get ready for three haunted houses filled with all the best scares. This is a Halloween experience you won't want to miss.

For this adventure, we recommend you to wear your best Halloween costume and prepare yourself for a journey into the depths!
