Zwanze Day 2021

Bagby Beer Company is honored and excited to have been selected once again to host 2021 Zwanze Day - our 7th time!

One of the oldest and most esteemed makers of traditional Lambic and Gueuze in the world, Brasserie Cantillon, in Brussels, Belgium will once again release a very special beer for this year’s Zwanze Day. The Bagbys have a long time friendship with Jean Van Roy, his family, and the fine folks of Cantillon. We are extremely proud to pour our friend’s beer for our guests here at Bagby Beer, and grateful for the companionship, hospitality, and kindness Jean has always showed us when we have been lucky enough to visit Cantillon in Brussels.

Due to the extremely limited amount of Cantillon beer available, this will be a ticketed event, and only Zwanze Day ticket holders will be permitted in the event area during the event. Tickets will remain on sale online only while they last, or until 11:59PM on 9/24/21.

We'll hold the Zwanze Day toast promptly at 12pm PST so we can be in sync with the world-wide toast. As is tradition, the toast will be to celebrate Cantillon, craft beer, and friendship alongside the other locations enjoying  Zwanze on September 25th! We hope you'll join us for some rare and delicious beer, friendship and fun.

Tickets will be limited to one per person. Each ticket will provide a pour of BOTH the 2021 and 2020 Zwanze Day beers, plus 4 additional, 6-ounce pours of your choice of the remaining available draught Cantillon beers while they last. In addition to the special Zwanze beers, we will also be pouring on draught:

Nath • Magic Lambic •  St-Lamvinus • Vigneronne • Camerise

You will receive a branded Bagby/Cantillon 2021 Zwanze Day glass to keep and we will have a small selection of bottled Cantillon beer available for purchase.

Important Details - please read carefully:

> All guests must be 21+ to purchase a ticket and attend the event

> All guests must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide verifiable documentation

> All guests will must show valid ID to enter this event, and the name on the ID must match the name on the ticket. Unfortunately there will be no exceptions, so we beg of you: please, please, please be prepared and do not put us in a position to tell you no, or explain why, or anything else. Please and thank you!

> This event is rain or shine; absolutely all sales are final. Please do not ask for a refund if your plans change, you suddenly have to be out of town, or you forgot it was your dog's birthday - all fine reasons for having to miss, but unfortunately we cannot issue refunds for these (or any other) situations.

> Check in will begin at 10AM on Saturday September 25th. While the Cantillon beer will not be available until 11AM (when the event begins), we will of course have our full compliment of Bagby beers, fresh cocktails, tasty coffee, and soft drinks available before then if you arrive early and as you are settling in.

> Sorry, due to limited space, we can only allow verified ticket holders in the Zwanze event area. Sadly this means that kids and dogs are not able to join. There will be no exceptions, so we beg of you: please do not put us in a position to tell you no, or explain why, or anything else. Please and thank you!

> We open for general business at noon. Re-entry is permitted to the event area if you'd like to meet up with others during the festivities.
