Zouk United Brazilian Zouk Weekender with Bruna & Felipe

After an amazing weekend that was EPIC with Marck & Melyssa, Zouk United is back again. Are you guys ready for more?!

12 hours of dancing zouk. 5 hours of class + Social + Pratica + Performances. We proudly announce for the very first time doing a full weekender in Miami, Bruna Peçanha and Felipe Lira!

If you don't know who they are yet, we promise you that you will fall in love with their style and how warm and welcoming they are while teaching. It will be a full weekend of learning and diving deep into Brazilian Zouk and its roots, with the refreshing touch of this young but very experienced couple of Br Zouk scene. Bringing all the Carioca and Paulista mix as they are from Rio and São Paulo respectively. Join us for this full weekend 6h of classes, a Social and a small practica. You won't regret. Brazilian Zouk is known for its fluid movements, strong connection between partners, beautiful hair & head movement, body isolations, and creative music interpretation. The dance has evolved rapidly since it was first adapted from its roots of Lambada. Brazilian Zouk is beautiful to watch, and extremely fun to dance! It is danced by people of all ages in night clubs, dance studios, and events around the world.

Bruna Peçanha is a teacher, dancer and choreographer formed by Nucleo de Dança Renata Peçanha and has been dancing since she was 4 years old.

For 7 years she has been part of the Renata Peçanha Dance Company, where she participated in several performances and shows.

She taught classes and performed in several cities in Brazil, as well as in the America, Europe and Oceania. She already participated in several professional competitions and got a place on the podium.

- Felipe Lira is a teacher, choreographer and dancer with 14 years of professional experience.

Felipe has won 3 world titles of Lambada (professional category).

He integrated international companies such as Brazouka, Lamba Crew and Key West Dancers as a dance captain, choreographer, teacher and dancer.

Felipe has worked in the main dance schools of São Paulo and since 2011 acts as a guest artists of the most recognized events and congresses of brazilian ballroom dancing in Brazil, Europe and in the United States.

- During their training, Bruna & Felipe studied various dance stylistics - from academic to popular - which contributed significantly to the composition of an expanded, sensitive and unique way of thinking in dance.

In January of 2020, Bruna and Felipe started their partnership with the philosophy of show the dance scene their passion for Brazilian Zouk and Lambada trough their work.
