Choreographed By: NONE OTHER than the INCREDIBLE WORLD CHAMPIONS PAULO & LUISA From BRAZIL.
Paulo and Luisa are 9 times champions in several dance festivals in Brazil.
Current Brazilian champions of Zouk - Brazil Latin Open 2018 and recently was the first couple of Brazilian Zouk to conquer the 2nd place in the most important Swing event, The Open Swing Championships in the category "Cabaret".

⚠️AUDITION INFORMATION⚠️
✅: Audition cost: $7 to secure your spot for auditions (Limited Spots Available) You will be receiving an intense training during the auditions as a small taste of what to expect at rehearsals.
HOW TO PAY:
Venmo @bachatahigh with your full name, & LEAD or FOLLOW
✅Must have awareness & understanding of the Zouk Basic Kit & Foundations of Brazilian Zouk. Dance Background is a plus, but not a requirement.
✅WHAT TO BRING: mask ?, athletic clothing, Tennis Shoes, Dance Shoes, water or sports drink.
✅Come ready to WORK. You will get a taste of what to expect at rehearsals???
✅Rehearsals will be 2 hours either Sunday Nights 7-9PM or Tuesday nights 7:30-9:30PM (depending on most availability) @ Block 1750 beginning June 20th or 22nd.
We will be starting with the INT/ADV Team & then adding Beginner team later on.

ABOUT YOUR DIRECTORS:
?ANASTASIA MAXIMILIAN (Stas ?):
Anastasia has been performing since age 7 when she started training as a figure skater going on to win Colorado State Championships and other regional competitions.
She has BFA in Film and a Minor in Dance from The University of Colorado at Boulder.
She studied Theatre arts and acting and was in many short films and plays in Colorado and LA. She was also a member of Boulder Cirque Troupe: The Fractal Society. She helped choreograph and produce a show that won Boulder International Fringe Festival and went on to tour around Colorado, California, and Costa Rica. She knows how to train hard and achieve high level artistic/athletic/performance goals.
Anastasia discovered Brazilian Zouk and fell completely in love. She trained obsessively, taking tens of hours of private lessons with highest level Zouk professionals including IVO Vieira & and Shani Mayer, Clo Ferreira, Kamacho Kamacho, Léo and Becky, Master Gilson, Léo and Romi, and Renato and Rachel Ramalho.
In 2016 Anastasia moved to London and began a partnership with Renato Veronezi the creator of Urban Zouk and training and teaching full time with Renato and Pedrinho and Linda Mattos at UK Dance Connexion School in London. Anastasia is one of the first Americans to perform and tour for Zouk across Europe.
Major congresses instructing include: LA Zouk Congress, Dutch Zouk Congress, Brazilian Dance Festival (Amsterdam), West Zouk time, (Brno, Czech Republic), Zouk Fever Budapest, TLV LambaZouk Fest (Tel Aviv), Las Vegas Afro-Latin Festival, Future Zouk Chicago Congress, Phoenix Bachata Festival.
Now she is back and based in Boulder, Colorado. Anastasia began her own company Zouk High, currently producing high quality events, classes, and socials across Colorado & other states with her partner Lamar Hernandez.
Anastasia & Lamar are currently booking workshops and events across the USA and Internationally.
??LAMAR HERNANDEZ:
Lamar found Latin Dancing overseas four years ago in Asia while being stationed in Okinawa, Japan for the US Military where he started taking classes, joined a performance team and took as many privates as he could with the local salsa/bachata instructor by the name of Erik Rodriguez the owner of Mamboki Dance Company. Even if he had to walk 40 minutes at times from his base to the dance studio Lamar would never miss a lesson. Lamar was exposed to the Asian Latin Dance Scene as he spent all the free time he could get from the military to attend and perform at festivals/congresses across Asia. Tokyo Salsa Congress, Formosa Dance Festival in Taiwan, Korea Bachata/ Salsa Congress, Kizombasa Afro Latin Festival in Thailand & Shanghai Bachata Festival.
Now he lives in Boulder Colorado where he has been training in Brazilian Zouk and teaching classes and private classes of Brazilian Zouk and Bachata Sensual with his partner Anastasia Maximilian.
