Learn from fellow attendees through a facilitated discussion and brainstorming session to explore how to expand your business network. Attendees will learn the art of brainstorming, make connections, and walk away with actionable items to expand their network. Join Jess from Rooted in Process, a facilitating, consulting, and training firm working to transform groups and people through collaborative processes that designs workshops, sessions, and planning events tailored to the group. Jess Stempien is the owner of Rooted in Process. She is a meeting facilitator and certified Everything DiSC Workplace facilitator. Her focus has been on community engagement, environmental and social justice, coalition building, and government. Facilitating means “to make easy”, by managing the people and the process so leaders and decision makers can focus on the content. She uses internationally known facilitation processes that help to evoke group creativity and build consensus. She has spent 20-years working for the State of Florida, is founder of the Sierra Pines Coalition, has a degree in Environmental Science, and is an alumni of the University of Florida Natural Resources Leadership Institute. She belongs to the International Association of Facilitators, the Southeast Association of Facilitators, the Institute of Cultural Affairs/Technology of Participation Network, Toastmasters International, and Working Women of Tampa Bay.
