If you’re passionate about animals and nature, then the Tulsa Zoo Teen Program is calling your name! If you are entering Grade 8-12, this is your chance to dive into valuable experiences that will shape your future career!
Join us for one of our upcoming Zoo Teen Information Meetings at the Tulsa Zoo Helmerich Discovery Center Auditorium:
Saturday, January 31st: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Saturday, February 21st: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Tuesday, March 24th: 6-7:30 p.m.
You won’t want to miss this incredible opportunity to learn all about what this fantastic program has to offer.
Zoo Teens is a unique year-round mentorship opportunity for teens ages 13 to 17 interested in animals, the environment and zoo careers. The program is by invitation only after an application and interview process, and space is extremely limited; typically, about 15 spots are offered each year.
During their first year, teens work in various areas of the Education Department and as teens progress through the program, they are able to serve as zookeeper aids in various animal departments throughout the zoo.
