About this Event

Join Neighborhood Services and the Planning Division at the City of Charleston for a free workshop called “Zoning in Real Life: What it Means for Your Neighborhood” on Wednesday, April 29 at 6:00 PM in the City Meeting Room.

We’ll walk through common scenarios—rezonings, variances, development proposals—and talk about when and how neighborhoods can weigh in effectively. The goal is to make zoning less intimidating and a lot more understandable.

Who should attend:
Neighborhood leaders, renters, homeowners, and anyone interested in civic engagement or understanding how City Hall works. Youth in need of volunteer hours can receive 1.5 hours for attending.
