Zondag: Buurt- en spelletjescafé

Onder de noemer ‘Zondag Spelletjesdag’ was het café de afgelopen twee maanden elke zondag tussen 14.00 en 19.00 uur open. We hebben gemerkt dat zo’n zondagmiddag werkt. Er waren ‘vaste gasten’ en ook telkens nieuwe gezichten.
Met veel plezier laten we jullie dan ook weten dat het initiatief wegens succes oneindig verlengd wordt ;-).
Door het spelletjeselement voelde het misschien als een middag die alleen toegankelijk was voor spelletjesfans. Niets is minder waar: iedereen is welkom, van spelletjesfanaat tot degene die spelletjes háát. Om dat duidelijk te maken noemen we de zondagmiddag vanaf nu ‘Buurt- en spelletjescafé’.
Nu het weer mooier, de bomen groener en de dagen langer worden is het heerlijk om – met een biertje in de hand en een paar bitterballen op je bord – te genieten van ons zonnige terras of het behaaglijke café, voor als de zon het af laat weten.
Hier is ruimte voor nieuwe ontmoetingen, lekker ouwehoeren of diepe gesprekken in fijn gezelschap, ontspannen met een boek of de hele middag spelletjes spelen, het kan allemaal in het buurtcafé!
Met een overvloed aan spellen binnen handbereik, inclusief pingpongtafel, sjoelbak en buiten de trampolines, zullen kinderen zich niet vervelen. En, wie weet laat zelfs de spelletjeshater zich alsnog verleiden tot een rondje ‘Exploding Kittens’!
Voel je welkom, elke zondag van 14.00-19.00 uur, in het café op Het Groene Veld. De bar is open en elke zondag bieden we wisselende snacks of hapjes aan.
Trouwens, ook een aantal buurtbewoners staan op zondag af en toe achter de bar of helpen een handje met van tevoren of ter plekke lekkere snacks maken. Het Groene Veld is tenslotte van ons allemaal. Lijkt jou dat ook leuk?

Café open every Sunday from now on!
For the past two months the café has been open every Sunday between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. under the name ‘Sunday Games Day’. We noticed it works. There were ‘regulars’ and new faces every time.
That’s why we are pleased to announce the initiative will be extended indefinitely due to its success ; ).
Perhaps the games element made it feel like an afternoon only open to games fans. Nothing could be further from the truth: everyone is welcome, from games fanatics to those who hate games. To make this clear, we will now call Sunday afternoon ‘Neighborhood and games café’.
Now that the weather is nicer, the trees are greener and the days are getting longer, it is wonderful to enjoy our sunny terrace or the cozy café - for when the sun is hiding - with a beer in hand and a few ‘bitterballs’ on the side.
There is room for new encounters, chatting or deep conversations in good company, relaxing with a book or playing games all afternoon, it's all possible in the neighborhood café!
With an abundance of games at your fingertips, including ping pong table, shuffleboard and outdoor trampolines, kids won''t be bored. And, who knows, maybe even the game hater will be tempted by a round of 'Exploding Kittens'!
Feel welcome, every Sunday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in the café at Het Groene Veld. The bar is open and every Sunday we offer various snacks or bites.
By the way, several locals also occasionally take on a bar shift on Sundays or lend a hand by making tasty snacks in advance or on the spot. After all, the Green Field belongs to all of us. Does that seem fun to you too?
