Description
Whether you plan to share homemade cookies as gifts or just hope to keep the cookie jar filled, you'll want to pick up tips from this expert as she shows you how to make her own versions of these fabulous, seasonal cookies. Chocolate lovers will delight in her twice-baked Italian-style cookies; traditionalists will swoon when tasting her decorated, cut-out sugar cookies; and we don't know anyone who won't be making her version of Linzer cookies again and again. You'll enjoy sampling each cookie as Zoe shows you how to make each recipe and shares insights into the importance of quality ingredients.

ABOUT ZOE FRANCOIS
Zoë is a baker, a teacher, a New York Times best-selling author with ten cookbooks, a photographer, an Emmy-nominated TV host of Zoë Bakes on the Magnolia Network, and writes about what she loves in her Substack newsletter.
While at the Culinary Institute of America, Zoë was hired by Andrew Zimmern, as a pastry chef assistant. She took the job, left school, and became his executive pastry chef within 6 months. Zoë gave up the daily grind of the restaurant world after she had two sons but continued to work in the food industry.
In 2021 Zoë's first solo book, was released and won the IACP Award for Best Baking Book. Her newest book, Zoë Bakes Cookies, is a New York Times best-selling cookbook; the book has 75 of her favorite cookie, brownie, and bar recipes and tells the story of her life from living on a commune to raising midwestern boys, with nods to her middle school Home Ec Class and even her great-great-grandmothers.
Zoë has also co-authored eight books in the best-selling Bread in Five Minutes a Day series with Jeff Hertzberg, which have sold nearly 1 million copies and taught a generation to bake bread at home.
With almost thirty years of teaching experience, Zoë most often teaches online, through Zoë’s Baking Academy in her Substack Newsletter and YouTube videos. Her recipes have appeared in dozens of articles, in magazines such as Better Homes and Gardens, Bake from Scratch, Fine Cooking, Midwest Living, Disney, Magnolia Journal, People Magazine and many others.
