Soar across the River Tyne on a spectacular zip wire, launching from Newcastle Quayside and landing in Baltic Square, Gateshead. Suspended between the iconic Millennium Bridge and the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, this is the highest and longest zip wire we’ve ever run across the Tyne.
The Challenge
Your adventure begins with a full safety briefing and professional kit fitting. Then, in groups of five, you’ll be lifted an incredible 150 feet into the air.
From the launch platform, you’ll step up, get clipped in… and when the gate opens—
you’ll fly 350 metres across the Tyne to the finish line.
This is not for the faint-hearted—but that’s what makes it such an incredible challenge and a perfect opportunity to raise sponsorship.

Participant Requirements
To take part, you must:
Weigh between 6 stone (38kg) and 17 stone (107kg)
Be medically fit
Be under 16 only if accompanied by a parent or guardian
