We are celebrating International Women’s Day this year with a Zine workshop! Artist Natalie Mark will guide participants through the process of making zines. Through the power of indie press, people have always found ways to share information and express ideas. Together we will learn all about zines, their history, and how we can take the power of production and self-expression into our own hands.
Natalie Mark is a cartoonist engaged with community and public art and education. They have facilitated various art projects for Winnipeg’s Chinatown, and run many art workshops in Winnipeg and beyond. Natalie’s comics are somewhere between a reflection of life and small curiosities, a tool for understanding the world around them.
