I’ve been sitting with how slow and fragile the timeline can feel when it comes to supporting our LGBTQ+ community in Greater Lansing. Out of that frustration, a small volunteer crew has come together with me to start an LGBTQ+ history zine project, and we’re in the early discussion and planning stages now.
We want this to be rooted in community, not just in our own circles, so we’d love your help figuring out who we should connect with—elders, organizers, artists, students, archivists, or anyone holding pieces of local queer and trans history.
