ZINE FEST HOUSTON 2026

Zine Fest Houston (ZFH), Texas's longest-running self-publishing festival, returns to the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art (OSCVA) on November 21st from 12-6 PM with its signature event, featuring nearly 200 vendors showcasing self-published works by visual and performance artists, musicians, writers, journalists, and community and advocacy organizations. Since 1993, ZFH has been the region’s pre-eminent gathering of zinesters, drawing over 1,600 visitors annually and featuring a broad array of programming on its annual theme, decided on by popular vote.
This year, ZFH features a ‘circus’ theme, with related programming from Josh Ryan, Meredith Nudo, The Houston Intersex Society, the Houston Book Arts Guild, Audley Creative, Renegade Carnies, and an interactive puppet ecosystem by The Orange Show's 2026 artists-in-residence world-renowned performance artists Poncili Creación.
Attendees are encouraged to showcase their most carnivalesque looks, and participate in the community fashion show at 5 PM!
