In this zine club for 'Balik Kampung: Young Malays Negotiating Home' , we are accompanied by Nyx Nicholas, who is Scottish-Malay and Irdina Duran, who is Filipino-Indian, as they share how they navigate not being visibly Malay enough, and what it's like to negotiate their mixed Malay identity in a Singapore society that homogenises the Malay person.
