A band that is at the heart of Bay Area funk, soul, R&B and hip hop, responsible for creating Oakland's most prolific weekly funk and soul jam session-Oakadelic Wednesdays at the Layover. As a band, they improvise and perform styles reminiscent of Parliament Funkadelic, Robert Glasper, Roy Hargrove, Gil Evans, Miles Davis, Fela Kuti, J Dilla, Freddie Hubbard, Pink Floyd, Erykah Badu, even the symphonic sounds of Gustave Mahler, and more.
