The annual holy commemoration of Zhabdrung Kuchoe (Death Anniversary of Zhabdrung Rinpoche) will be held at Khamsum Zilnon Drukpai Lhakhang (KZDL Center) on Wednesday, 11 May 2022 from 7:00am to 5:00pm, corresponding to the 10th day of the 3rd month of the Bhutanese Calendar presided over by Khenchen Sonam Dhendup from Zhung Dratshang, The Chief Abode of Chari Meditation Center, Thimphu.
On this very holy day, Khenchen has consented to perform Zhabdrung Dahnangmai Wang, Tshogkor and recitation of Jigten Wangchuk prayers for the well being of devotees and all sentient beings particularly during this COVID-19 pandemic and for the World Peace. The program includes unveiling and receiving blessings from the Zhabdrung Khamsum Zilnon Nga-Drama (Self-Replica) statue of Zhabdrung Rinpoche, an auspicious gift received from the Zhung Dratshang.
On this auspicious occasion, the community leaders from Association of Bhutanese in Perth and the Choe-Tshogs will be commemorating this year’s Zhabdrung Kuchoe together to initiate discussion on formation of KZDL Lhakhang Project Committee in line with the meeting held with Dasho Kutshab, Ambassador of Bhutan to Australia.
All the Bhutanese and interested individuals/devotees are invited to attend the event to offer prayers, receive blessings, make offerings to accumulate merits for oneself and wellbeing of all sentient beings. The funds received from the event will go towards the Khamsum Zilnon Bhutanese Temple Project in Perth, Western Australia.

If any queries, please contact any of the coordination team members.
