SCOTT WEILAND’S SON BECOMES NEW SINGER OF LA ROCK BAND

Noah Weiland, son of the late legendary Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland, is the new lead singer of LA rock band Zephyring.

Prior to Noah joining the band, Zephyring (fronted by Barb Wire Dolls’ guitarist Pyn Doll), released two albums, Hydraphantasy and Detournement, both produced by the late indie icon Steve Albini (Nirvana’s In Utero, Pixies’ Surfer Rosa, PJ Harvey’s Rid Of Me), via Grunge Pop Records, a new label advised by Sub Pop Records founder Bruce Pavitt, who famously discovered and signed Nirvana and Soundgarden.

After releasing their latest album Mantraman or Astroman? (August 2026/Grunge Pop), the band announced via social media that Noah Weiland was officially the new singer of Zephyring.

The band will perform for the first time with Weiland on Friday, December 4th in Los Angeles at The Viper Room.

Zephyring is: Noah Weiland (lead vocals), Frank Salazar (lead guitar), Pyn Doll (rhythm guitar), Gabe Maska (bass), and Kyle Brian (drums).
