Celebrate the season with creativity in this festive Zentangle® holiday card class! Using ink and watercolor, you’ll learn how to combine relaxing Zentangle patterns with vibrant washes of color to create unique, hand-made cards perfect for gifting. No previous art experience is required—just bring your holiday spirit and a willingness to play. By the end of class, you’ll leave with beautiful, one-of-a-kind cards that spread joy to both the maker and the recipient. No art experience is needed—just an open mind and a willingness to explore. You will learn the basics of the Zentangle Method, a meditative drawing practice that uses simple patterns to create intricate, beautiful works of art. Each class will guide you through a relaxing, imaginative journey, helping you build confidence in your creativity, one stroke at a time. All materials are provided. Instructor: Misty Johnson
Misty Johnson is a Certified Zentangle® Teacher, ceramic artist, and registered nurse based in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. She discovered the Zentangle Method in 2019 and has been passionate about its calming, creative power ever since. Misty loves guiding others on their journey to relaxation and self-expression through art, combining her background in nursing with her love of teaching. Whether she’s drawing, sculpting clay, or helping someone find their inner calm, Misty brings heart, presence, and creativity to everything she does.
