From humble beginnings in the backstreets of Melbourne, Zenon Records has grown into one of the world’s premier labels in the underground psychedelic scene. There was no plan - just a musical vision: to release quality psy-minimal progressive trance with an Australian bent. Through an ever-expanding organic process, this has morphed into the huge Zenon Records musical tree that we know today, with an extensive range of audio palettes that are varied, yet all somehow connected through the ‘Zenonesque’ sound. ��Earth Frequency Festival has a long history with Zenon Records, with the early Earth Freq events as far back as 2006 being stacked with the Australian Zenon artists, promoting the development of the progressive trance scene in S.E.QLD and North NSW from the early days, and integrating the deep sound of Zenon in to the musical spirit and dance floor DNA of Earth Frequency. The connection has always been strong and it is an honour to be presenting the Brisbane anniversary show for Zenon Records. �
