Join us for an equinox afternoon in harmony together at a private retreat sanctuary
to enjoy a traditional zen tea ceremony with long time zen and tea guide and scholar, MJ Greenmountain.

We will share mindful presence and gentle awareness in storytelling, poetry rounds, and an unplugged open mic around the tea table,
sampling some of the finest rare aged Puerh and Herbal Teas …
Light bites will also be served
We will be hosting at Jade Valley Private Retreat Sanctuary, a private cultural center and retreat location just eight minutes outside of downtown Nevada City.
MJ Greenmountain has been a teacher in Zen and Tea for over 16
years, and received training from a true Hermit and Old World
Tea Master - which rarely exist these days, even in the Far East. MJ's
20 years of Asian travel, tea and antiques collecting, along with ongoing studies, have rounded out his experience and knowledge. His continued work and study in ancient Healing Arts allows for a rare combination of skills and Wisdom. MJ is also known for being a community organizer and leader, as well as being renowned for his decades of work, recordings, and performances in the World Music genre.
