Zen Meditation Retreat

Where: West Barnstable Community Building, 5377 Meetinghouse Way, Rt. 149, West Barnstable.

When: May 4th, 9:00 - 3:30. Please arrive by 8:30, or, if this is your first retreat with us, by 8:00 so we can orient you to the space and the forms.
Bring: a lunch or snack for yourself. We will be taking a mid-day break.
Also bring: Your robe if you have one. (Guest robes will be available too), and if you have a personal cushion, bench or mat you prefer, bring that too.
Covid requirements: to protect the vulnerable members of the group, we are asking everyone to take a rapid test in the morning before arriving. Masks are optional.
.Extra thoughts: We will bring mats and cushions for everyone, plus there are chairs in the buiding. Please let us know if you prefer to practice in a chair, on a cushion, or would like both so you can switch back and forth for comfort. It will be helpful to know this in advance so we can set up properly in the morning.
At the conclusion of the retreat we will take a group photo and there will be refreshments and a communal clean up effort. After the space is fully broken down, all are welcome to gather for an early dinner at Bankok Thai Cusine at 20 Independence Drive, Hyannis. Hope you can come!
