Zen & Zoomies: Kitten Sound Bath

Join us at the shelter for a calming sound‑bath experience accompanied by the sweetest (and occasionally most mischievous) kittens in town.
Our friends at Mahad Yoga in Lake Stevens will be leading this peaceful experience, bringing their soothing instruments and gentle guidance right into the kitten room. During the sound bath, gentle tones from crystal bowls, chimes, and soft instruments will fill the room while the kittens wander, explore, nap, or stage dramatic acrobatic routines of their own choosing. We aim for deep relaxation, but the kittens run on kitten time, which sometimes includes surprise pounces, zoomies, or extremely committed snuggle attempts. It’s all part of the charm!
Whether you’re brand‑new to sound baths or you’ve enjoyed them before, this event is designed for anyone who loves calming experiences, adorable animals, and a little lighthearted unpredictability.
After the sound‑bath portion, you’ll have extra time to interact with the kittens and enjoy their quirky personalities.
All proceeds support the care of our homeless animals.
Cost: $45 per ticket

- Please bring your own yoga mat or towel and bottled water.
- All participants must be 18+ years of age or 10+ years old with an
accompanying adult.
- Kittens have sharp claws and teeth, you may consider wearing
long pants and sleeves in case they get really friendly!
- Kittens will likely not be available for adoption at the event.
- No experience necessary - the event is beginner-friendly.
- All participants will be required to sign a waiver.
- Spots are limited due to space restrictions.
