The ZEGG Forum Facilitation training in Portland now comes in two sessions! It’s the same Forum Facilitation Training teachings and practices, but now you can come for just one session or stay right through for the full training.Session 1:
Introduction to Forum Facilitation: Friday, April 4, 10am-5pm
This session is for beginning facilitators or anyone who wants to learn more about what makes Forum such a unique social technology. We will cover the fundamental tools, principles and practices of a Forum facilitator, engage in plenty of experiential exercises to help you take your first steps toward Forum Facilitation, and a look at how even a novice can bring Forum back to your community.
Session 2:
Forum Facilitation Practice and Feedback: Saturday, April 5, (9am-6pm)
This will be an experiential day of practice for anyone who has been through at least a basic Forum Facilitation training. You will have a chance to facilitate at least once solo or with another person and get feedback. There will also be time for deepening skills and learning how to handle tricky situations as they arise.
