The 33rd annual Zanesville Handbell Festival will be presented on Sunday November 24, 2024 – 7:00 p.m. at Grace Church.
This annual event sponsored by the Thursday Music Club features local handbell choirs uniting together to musically usher in the holiday season. Each choir will perform two numbers individually. The choirs also join together for a “mass ring” in a festival setting.
This year the guest director for the “mass ring” is Dr. Brent Lawrence, Music and Worship Director at First United Methodist Church of Morganton, NC. The handbells will be accompanied by cello.
The concert is open to the public with a freewill offering to cover the expenses; the offertory will feature classical guitar music. Plan to attend and bring a friend.
