Zagreb International Medical Summit
is a medical congress that brings together medical students and young doctors worldwide.
We are glad to invite you to the #ZIMS21 congress which will take place in Zagreb from December 2nd to December 5th 2021.
It is organized by medical students, members of EMSA (European Medical Student’s Association) Zagreb, organization oriented to scientific activities within Europe.
As a participant, you will have the opportunity to attend interesting lectures, educational workshops and social program.
Lectures are oriented around the years ZIMS theme – this years theme is “Plastic surgery and social media”.
Workshops are combination of different classes related to the theme and important practical skills every young doctor should master.
Social program consists of different activities that help you get to know Zagreb and Croatian culture.
You can participate as an active or passive participant. As an active participant you will present your paper with poster or oral presentation on MS PowerPoint alongside attending workshops and lectures.
Active participants have to submit their abstract before the deadline on November 20th 23:59 CET. The best of abstracts will be published as a supplement to a prestigious medical journal, 'Liječnički vjesnik'.
Passive participants only attend workshops and lectures. The deadline for passive participants is extended to the 24th of November 23:59 CET.

We are organizing this year's edition of ZIMS with COVID-19 pandemic restrictions in mind. If the epidemiological situation worsens, ZIMS will be held online and all participants will receive partial refund.
