ZACH SEWELL 5TET @ the muddy puddle

Zach Sewell is a London-based saxophonist and composer, and their 5tet brings together some of the most exciting young talent on the London jazz scene.

Taking inspiration from across jazz, gospel and improvised music, their music features exciting rhythmic writing and dynamic band interplay, inspired by forward-thinking artists including such as Immanuel Wilkins and Alice Leggett.

With collective performance credits including Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club and EFG London Jazz Festival, the band features Lara Hopper on trumpet, Sophie Ford on piano, Jesse Penny on bass and Finlay Mackenzie on drums.
