Zach Mandeville: Storytellers
Advertisement
Zach Mandeville has a long and storied history in comedy, one that's
largely unknown to New Zealand. In this hour, he tells the stories
behind his most beloved jokes. It is a rare look behind an
oft-misunderstood man, and a survey of the strange and serpentine
history of alternative comedy.
This show is a combination of storytelling and standup, history and humor, and a critical hit at the 2026 Wellington Fringe. It was awarded "Best Show", "Best Moment", and "Most fascinating show" by the local arts reviewers.
"His storytelling ability is a superpower....His confidence on stage is entirely earned,
and the crowd hangs onto his every word."
- Elliot Lam, wellyott.com
"So well honed, so sharp, so funny...the type of comedy I love - a
fantastical thread of storytelling that was all at once cerebral and
absurd"
