40 years later… and yes, this is really happening.
⚠️ IMPORTANT TICKET UPDATE:
Tickets will increase to $75 starting July 1, so now is the time to commit.
The earlier people purchase tickets, the better we can plan food, entertainment, activities, decorations, and the overall reunion experience. Our grand plans can only come to fruition if people jump in early and help build momentum.
Please spread the word. Pester your friends. Track people down. We want this to be inclusive and represent the entire YVHS experience — not just the “popular quad kids.”
This reunion is for everybody:
• The 200 wing
• The 400 wing
• The 600 wing
• Athletes
• Metalheads
• Skaters
• Band kids
• Drama kids
• Honor students
• The quiet people who kept to themselves
• And everyone in between
On August 1, we’re gathering at the beautiful Heller Garden Estate in the Oakland Hills, overlooking the entire Bay Area. Huge thanks to Chris and Sherri Heller for opening up their incredible home for this special night.
This is not your typical banquet hall reunion.
The property is built for reconnecting, wandering, and taking it all in:
• Beautiful gardens
• Scenic Bay view lookout spots
• A relaxed lounge gazebo
• And yes… a sweet tiki bar 🍹
Whether you want to reconnect with lifelong friends, catch up with people you haven’t seen in decades, or simply enjoy a great night in an amazing setting, there’s a place for everyone.
🔥 Catering Update:
Food options will depend on turnout and ticket sales. We are currently looking at either:
• Catering from our own Louie Senor’s — Melo’s Italian Restaurant 🍝
• Or bringing in a Taco Truck 🌮
The more people we get, the better the food, entertainment, and overall experience become.
We’d love for this to become more than just a one-night event. There’s already talk of:
• Golf outings
• Wine tasting
• Group dinners
• Live music
• Bar hops
• Friday night bar get-togethers at Artie’s, WiseGirl, Round Up, and more 🍻
• And even a crew heading to the AC/DC concert on August 5 🎸
⛳ NEW:
We are also planning the first-ever “1980’s YVHS Golf Tournament” on July 31 at Diablo Creek Golf Course. More information coming soon.
We also want to make this meaningful:
• Honoring classmates we’ve lost
• Sharing old digital photos and memories
• Reunion swag and memorabilia

Last week, a group of classmates got together to begin planning and organizing the reunion weekend. The energy, ideas, and excitement were awesome. We truly want to make this something special — not just another reunion, but an experience people will remember.
