YURLU | COUNTRY is a deeply moving and beautifully captured documentary chronicling Banjima Elder Maitland Parker’s final year as he fights to heal his ancestral land that has been devastated by asbestos contamination. Through breathtaking cinematography and intimate storytelling, the film captures a powerful legacy of cultural resilience and environmental justice. Winner of the Doc Edge 2025 The Edge of Impact award.
