The ‘Queen of Salsa’, Celia Cruz is one of the best known and most-loved Salsa musicians. Hailing from Cuba, where she first made a name for herself, Celia Cruz relocated to New York where she became one of the leading lights of the iconic Fania All Stars. Tonight we launch this project celebrating the life and works of Celia Cruz with Cuban songstress Yuri Moreno interpreting some of Celia’s great works. Plus there’ll be a selection of Sarabanda original tunes for good measure.
