Yule is one of the oldest winter celebrations, dating back to the Norse and Germanic peoples. It marks the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, when people lit fires and decorated with evergreens to welcome back the sun. Many of our holiday traditions today—like wreaths, trees, and feasting—come from these ancient Yule customs that celebrate light, life, and renewal.” ✨The wreath as a circle: cycles of life, death, and rebirth
Evergreens (pine, cedar, fir): immortality, protection
Holly: warding off negativity, inviting good luck
Mistletoe: love, fertility, blessings
Berries (cranberries, juniper): abundance, vitality
Ribbons & Bells: intentions, joy, warding spirits
Crystals/Charms (optional): amplify magic
