Join us as we dress locally sourced pine for a sacred Yule Log.Traditionally, "The log itself, typically a large, carefully chosen piece of wood, symbolized the hearth and the life-sustaining fire within the home." (Source: norsegarde.com)
It has evolved into the modern practice of dressing a chosen log for the Yule season as a symbol of warmth, hearth, and good fortune; as light triumphs over dark with the winter solstice (Yule) being the starting point to the return of longer days.
All locally sourced vegetation and candles included. Feel free to bring your own dressings for the log as well.
