Celebrate the return of the light and the cozy magic of midwinter by making your own Fire Cider in this hands-on herbal workshop!
About this Event

As the days slowly begin to stretch longer and the light returns, let’s gather around to celebrate the magic of midwinter. Settle into the cozy spirit of the season, and make a batch of Yule Chai’d Fire Cider infused with winter warming herbs and chai spices. Fire cider is a classic herbal preparation and a wonderful introduction to the foundations of herbalism: learning about plants, preparing them with intention, and creating simple remedies you can incorporate into everyday life.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll make and take home your own 16 oz jar of Fire Cider. All supplies are provided. You’ll also receive an 8 oz bottle and honey to finish your fire cider at home after it has infused for one month. We’ll talk about the history of fire cider, what it's good for, and how to take it.

Once your fire cider is ready, you can enjoy it as a traditional daily shot, turn it into a festive non-alcoholic mocktail, or even use it as a bright, warming addition to a cozy winter salad. Come learn, make something with your hands, connect with the plants and community, and leave with your own little jar of herbal winter magic.

Jenn Bell is the founder of Savage Souls Botaniks, she has a certificate in western herbalism and is a lover of nature and a good book. She moved from philly to phoenix to follow her passion for plants, which began in childhood and blossomed on organic farms, and growing her own garden. She makes herbal teas and remedies, hosts plant ceremonies, and offers 1:1 herbal consultations. Savage Souls Botaniks cultivates connection and builds community through educational classes, urban gardening, and working with the plants.
