Join us for Winter Solstice, also known as Yule. Winter Solstice is the shortest day of the year, when we celebrate the return of light as each day grows longer towards spring.We will gather in the back lot of The Labyrinth, across the street from The Shop. Here, we will have a Yule fire, to keep away evil and welcome in good fortune, from which charred wood can be carried home with you. As we will gather outdoors, please dress appropriately and bring a camping chair if able.
We are also honored to be joined by Goði Ryan as he will lead us in a Norse tradition blót. You need not be on the Norse path to participate, all are welcome.
We will be collecting winter items (hats, scarves, gloves, etc) and Christmas gifts and non-perishable food items for our local charitable organizations to share within our community. Please donate if you are so called and able. The impact of one can affect many.
As with all of our events, we simply ask that you come with an open mind and with respect towards all other participants.
