About this Event

Hailing from Taipei, Taiwan, a city with a thriving nightlife that goes until the wee hours of the morning, Yuka grew up with the birth of the electronic music scene in Asia in the late 90s. Taiwan is a renegade democratic island that becomes independent from China. With a mix of Taiwanese, Dutch and Japanese, Yuka cut her teeth as a producer and DJ in London in Camden Town, training under the London Sound Academy. She plays regularly in San Francisco at venues such as 1015, Midway, Monarch, Bergerac, the Endup, Lion's Den, Asiento, Mars Bar and Northern Ducks.

CBLS is a new live electronic band based in San Francisco. Veterans of the SF music scene, two keyboard players and a drummer came together to push the boundaries of live instrumentation and electronic music. Blending melodic house and alternative dance music, CBLS strives to make people move with the group's signature use of live drums, big organic bass lines and tight synth leads.

Keyozah is a neon-soaked 80s cyber funk/synthwave trio with big modern pop production, currently based in San Jose. With wailing guitar solos, funky bass, heavy beats, and powerful melodic vocals reminiscent of Lady Gaga’s clubbier material, Keyozah will get you moving in the dystopian future of today. Band members Keyo (guitarist/producer), singer Aiyo, and drummer Vena draw inspiration from synthwave heavy-hitters like Kavinsky, FM84, The Midnight, and of course, Daft Punk, as well as classic 80s sci-fi films like Blade Runner, Alien, and Terminator. Their debut album Technophobia is an energetic take on retro-sci fi that explores social and personal themes while also… bangin!
