Celebrate Pride with two nights of laughter at Yuk Yuk's Halifax as we welcome an incredible lineup of some of Canada's funniest comedians!
Headlining the weekend is Martha Chaves, Martha is an award-winning stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and keynote speaker who has been making Canada laugh for over two decades. In 2023, she was part of the Gala The Root of All Evil at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, which earned a Canadian Screen Award nomination—showcasing her knack for being part of something great. Named one of TLN’s Ten Most Influential Hispanic Canadians and awarded Best Stand-Up Comic at the Canadian Comedy Awards, Martha tours coast to coast. She’s a regular on CBC’s Because News and Laugh Out Loud and a veteran of Just For Laughs, the WCF, and more.
Joining Martha is Clare Belford, one of Canada's fastest-rising comedy stars. Fresh from appearances at Just For Laughs, CBC's The Debaters, and 22 Minutes, Clare brings a sharp, fearless, and wildly relatable style that has earned her acclaim from audiences nationwide.
Opening the show is Halifax's own Patrick Cadegan, an exciting up-and-coming comic whose fresh perspective and quick wit are quickly making him one to watch on the East Coast comedy scene.
