Yuja Wang

The wait is over! Yuja Wang, “quite simply the most uncannily gifted pianist in the concert world today” (San Francisco Chronicle), joins the Arsht Classical Music series for the first time. Celebrated for her charismatic stage presence, jaw-dropping virtuosity, emotional honesty and fearless technique, Wang has been described as a “phenomenon … dazzling, daring and supremely controlled” (The Guardian). Recently, after Wang delivered a series of performances at Carnegie Hall, the Financial Times wrote that “the audience staggered out as one, all changed, all humbled, all grateful for that ticket.” It does not take a crystal ball to divine that Wang’s Arsht appearance will be one of the most overwhelmingly popular, most talked-about classical music events of the South Florida season.
