Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship 2024 OTS Celebration Tournament

ATTENTION DUELISTS! This tournament follows special rules:

• Your deck must adhere to the World Championship 2024 Forbidden/Limited Lists.
• The use of OCG cards is allowed. Double-sleeving is encouraged (to avoid potential marked card penalties). Sleeves with partial or fully transparent backs are prohibited if using a mix of TCG and OCG cards.

-Entry fee: $20.00, due at the time of registration.

-You MUST have a Konami Card Game ID (KCGID) to participate. If this is your first time playing in a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament at our store, please bring your KCGID card/number with you. If you don't have one, you must register for one on the My Konami website or the Yu-Gi-Oh Neuron app PRIOR to enrolling in the tournament. Please also familiarize yourself with tournament rules and policy before coming to the store.

-The tournament is World Championship 2024 Format with a number of rounds of Swiss based on attendance (4-8 players = 3 rounds, 9-16 players = 4 rounds, 17+ players = 5 rounds). Rounds are 45-minute timed best-of-three-game matches. End-of-round procedure is the active player will finish the Phase of the turn they're in when time is called, then a Life Point comparison is performed if the game hasn't yet concluded. The player with higher Life Points at that moment will win that Duel, otherwise if they're tied that Duel will end in a Draw. Then the player with more Duel wins will be declared the winner of the Match, otherwise if they're tied the Match will be declared a Draw.

-Each player will receive 4 OTS packs just for participating in the tournament. Additional prizes are awarded at the conclusion of the tournament based on match points (scored 3 points per win, 1 point per draw, 0 points per loss) as follows:

• 9 pts = $50.00 store credit
• 7 pts = $40.00 store credit
• 6 pts = $30.00 store credit

4 rounds

• 12 pts = $80.00 store credit
• 10 pts = $60.00 store credit
• 9 pts = $40.00 store credit
• 8 pts = $30.00 store credit
• 7 pts = $20.00 store credit
• 6 pts or fewer = No additional prize

5 rounds

• 15 pts = $90.00 store credit
• 13 pts = $67.50 store credit
• 12 pts = $45.00 store credit
• 11 pts = $40.00 store credit
• 10 pts = $35.00 store credit
• 9 pts = $25.00 store credit
• 8 pts = $20.00 store credit
• 7 pts or fewer = No additional prize

-We're also running a Seasonal Tournament Leaderboard which uses the results of each tournament to determine and award special prizes to the top finishing players at the end of each season. In addition, most tournaments will feature Bounty Duelists, which at minimum will always include the current top-positioned Leaderboard players, who if defeated will earn you a bonus prize pack for each at the end of the tournament!
