Yu-Gi-Oh Sealed: Speed Duel GX Midterm Destruction Release Celebration

-The entry fee for this event is $16.99 plus tax or the purchase of a Speed Duel GX Midterm Destruction box from our store (with receipt) prior to this event.

-You MUST have a Konami Card Game ID (KCGID) to participate. If this is your first time playing in a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament at our store, please bring your KCGID card/number with you. If you don't have one, you must register for one on the My Konami website or the Yu-Gi-Oh Neuron app PRIOR to enrolling in the tournament. Please also familiarize yourself with tournament rules and policy before coming to the store.

-Speed Duel Rules

• Each player begins the Duel with 4000 LP.
• Each player begins the Duel with 4 cards in the starting hand.
• Main Deck size is 20 to 30 cards.
• Extra Deck size is up to 6 cards.
• Each player can use up to 1 Skill Card.
• Each player has 3 Main Monster Zones, 3 Spell & Trap Zones, and 1 Field Zone.
• There are no Extra Monster Zones.
• There is no Main Phase 2.

-Sealed Tournament Rules

• Each player must build a legal Speed Duel deck using only the contents of their Speed Duel GX Midterm Destruction box.
• Side Deck rules allow for 0-20 additional Main/Extra Deck cards and 0-1 additional Skill Card.
• You MAY change around the contents of your Main, Extra, and Side Decks using cards from your Sealed pool between rounds, but NOT during a round.

-The tournament is Speed Duel Sealed Format with a number of Swiss rounds based on attendance (4-8 players: 3 rounds, 9-16 players: 4rounds, 17+ players: 5 rounds). Rounds are 40-minute timed best-of-three-game matches.

-Deckbuilding will begin at 3:30pm. Round 1 will commence after deckbuilding.

-Prizes are as follows:

• Each player will receive a Speed Duel OTS Pack at the start of the event.
• At the end of the event, each player will receive an additional Speed Duel OTS Pack for each match win they had in the tournament.
• 1st Place will receive an exclusive playmat featuring artwork for the Speed Duel GX Midterm Destruction Release Celebration. Another lucky player will also win this mat as a raffle prize at the end of the event.

-We're also running a Seasonal Tournament Leaderboard which uses the results of each tournament to determine and award special prizes to the top finishing players at the end of each season. For more information, check out our website.
