The Charity Event calls for every Duelist to bring a minimum of five (5) food items (minimum of 10.5 oz with an expiration date no sooner than 3/1/2025), instead of a cost of registration. The five (5) food items will be turned in and exchanged for five (5) Star Chips. Five (5) Star Chips will be used for the tournament, in which one (1) of the Star Chips will be at stake in each round, with a total of four rounds. The winner of each match receives their opponent’s Star Chip. At the end of the tournament, the Duelists trade the Star Chips they have collected for the same amount of random booster packs (provided by Konami) up to a maximum of nine (9) packs.
Duelists may bring in more than 5 food items, and even be encouraged to do so, but can only use 5 food items for the event. The additional food items would be a donation above and beyond what is required to participate and would not entitle the Duelist to additional pack.
The participant that donates the most unique food items will receive a Yu-Gi-Oh! OTS Banner. Three Yu-Gi-Oh! branded Millennium Alcove Deck Boxes, three Yu-Gi-Oh! Speed Duel: Streets of Battle City Themed Game Mat, two Phantom Nightmare Themed Game Mats, one Goblin Biker Grand Entrance Promo Card, and one Millennium Ankh Promo Card will all be given out via a random drawing of the Holiday Charity Event participants. Additional promo items may be added to the random drawing or for most food items donated.
All food items will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania. Please note that while you may bring in more than 5 food items, and are encouraged to do so, you can only use 5 food items in the event. Bringing more than 5 food items does not entitle you to more prizing. Any additional food items would be a donation above and beyond what is required to participate.
Please check with the store for current mask requirements.
