About This Event
The future of Africa’s technological landscape is no longer a distant vision it is actively being coded, designed, and engineered right now by our youth.
As Artificial Intelligence continues to redefine how the world solves its most complex challenges, Kenya stands at a pivotal crossroads. How do we ensure the next generation isn’t just consuming AI, but actively building it?
Welcome to the 9th Young Scientists Kenya (YSK) National Science and Technology Exhibition. Guided by this year's theme, "Shaping Kenya’s AI Future Using STEM," this flagship event is the culmination of a year-long nationwide journey.
We are bringing together the brightest young minds from all 47 counties to showcase ground-breaking, AI-focused, and STEM-driven solutions designed to address local and global challenges.
Modelled on internationally acclaimed frameworks and delivered in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Government of Ireland, YSK serves as the premier launchpad for Kenya’s premier youth innovation culture.
From cutting-edge tech prototypes to brilliant scientific research, these young innovators are moving past theory to show what happens when critical thinking meets technical skill.
Why You Need to Attend
Whether you are a tech leader, policymaker, corporate investor, educator, or STEM enthusiast, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to interact directly with the future architecture of our digital economy:
Discover Untapped Innovation: Experience firsthand over a hundred finalist projects across Chemical, Physical, Mathematics, Technology, Biological, and Social sciences with a heavy emphasis on practical AI applications.
Engage in the STEM Ecosystem: Connect with key stakeholders from government, academia, the private sector, and civil society who are committed to building Kenya's research and development foundation.
Invest in Future Talent: Spot top-tier young talent, future tech leaders, and scalable grassroots ideas ready for mentorship, incubation, and development.
