SUMMER CORN ROAST & PICNIC!!
A Youngstown Ski Club Annual Event
Food, Fun, and Camaraderie

Children (up to 12): $5.00
ADVANCED SALES preferred. WALK-INS on a limited basis!
WELCOME to yet another fun afternoon of shared food, fun entertainment, some games, and camaraderie in a historical setting! This is a great opportunity to enjoy nature and a meal in our scenic local park with The Youngstown Ski Club and supporters! We appreciate all the interest and support of our membership, guests, and the community. Dress for the weather of the day and arrive hungry. JOIN US!
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
-Local-Sourced delicious CORN
-Marinated Honey-Mustard Chicken
-Bottled Water & Event Supplies
-Historical Building and Picnic Table Seating
-A Variety of Yard Games
-Option to enter a small Chinese Auction & 50/50 Raffle
-Club Information, Membership Applications, and Trip Flyers
GUEST CONTRIBUTION:
-Covered Dish to share according to flyer
-Personal Coolers with Adult Beverages and Own Mugs
(cups provided; beverages cannot be in original container)
-Optional Camping Chairs for grass seating near games
-Hiking Shoes for a possible short out back and hike
-Optional Insect Repellent
-Bring hungry family and friends
IMPORTANT: YSC Members put in passionate effort to plan, organize, prepare, set-up, and tear-down for this event. Guest participation and attendance is our reward. We hope to offer 70+ guests an enjoyable afternoon. Provided food needs to be ordered in advance and tables set by participation numbers about 10 days prior to event! Add-ons can be accepted but limited. Please do your part to make your reservation as soon as you can and mail payment by early AUGUST 2026.
NOTE: The venue and MCP is not responsible for event sales. YSC rented the space and the grill for this event. Food and supplies were purchased for use and charges are to offset these costs. Participants must fill out the participation form at the bottom of the flyer with guest count and covered dish item. A guest list will get populated with existing items. Since this social event has fixed costs and some fundraising is involved, reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE, unless event is cancelled by host or venue.
